As a Performance & Optimization Specialist at Nokia, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance of mature wireless networks across Europe. Collaborating closely with a dynamic team of experts, your work will focus on end-to-end optimization, including capacity, architecture, and performance analysis. You'll conduct root cause analyses and implement best practices post-launch, ensuring our networks meet evolving customer needs. - Lead end-to-end network optimization activities for mature networks across Europe, focusing on performance, capacity, and architecture.
- Conduct root cause analysis and oversee field measurements and laboratory tests to resolve complex network issues.
- Analyze KPIs and traffic patterns to forecast network usage and recommend parameter tuning for design evolutions.
- Consult with customers, providing expert guidance on best practices for 4G & 5G parameters and features.
- Develop and implement strategic optimization practices to enhance wireless networks and overall customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional international teams, sharing insights and solutions to drive network performance improvements.
- Conduct network audits and optimize configurations based on traffic trends, ensuring alignment with customer forecasts.
- Act as a subject-matter expert, conducting knowledge sharing sessions with the Nokia internal community and clients.
You have:
- Strong understanding of 5G FR1 NSA/SA, 5G FR2, and LTE architecture
- In-depth knowledge of Nokia RRM, features, and parameters
- Experience with TCP packet analysis using Wireshark or similar tools
- Proficiency with Mantaray tools such as Performance Manager and Advanced Configurator
- Ability to analyze Nokia internal syslogs and eNB/gNB logs
- Strong understanding of National Benchmarking methodologies
- Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
It would be nice if you also had:
- Nokia Certified Solutions Specialist in Network Performance Services - 5G Radio Network Optimization
- Nokia ORAN/VRAN experience
- Multivendor vendor swap experience (Huawei, Ericsson, ZTE to Nokia)
