While experience with our current platforms is a plus, we are looking for a candidate who is passionate about campaign performance reporting, automation, and can adapt to evolving technologies and requirements.
No manual reporting—100% automated campaign data flows and dashboards. Scope Clarity What is in scope:
- Building and owning the campaign reporting automation process: from API/data connector selection (primarily Adverity), through data mapping and transformation, to storing data (primarily BigQuery), to campaign dashboard development (primarily Power BI).
- Translating business and client needs into technical reporting solutions focused on campaign data, performance, budget, creative, and all media measurement.
- Delivering end-to-end automated campaign dashboards, performance trackers, pacing reports, budget summaries, creative reporting, and similar analytics.
- Documentation and training for all solutions delivered.
- Supporting teammates’ skill development, knowledge sharing, and process improvement. What is out of scope:
- Manual reporting/Excel reporting for recurring campaign needs.
- Web analytics/GA4 implementation or management.
- Custom software/app development from scratch (i.e., building apps in Java/Python/C#, etc.).
- Direct people management or formal HR responsibilities (but you are expected to mentor and guide colleagues). Key Responsibilities • End-to-End Campaign Reporting Automation: Owns the technical and workflow design, build, and deployment of automated campaign reporting solutions for clients and internal teams.
• Data Pipeline and ETL for Campaign Data: Defines and implements all campaign data pipeline logic using best-fit tools (Adverity as the primary tool; Supermetrics, Funnel, or other connectors as needed). Oversees data mapping, normalization, and schema design.
• Data Storage & Processing: Manages automated campaign data storage, primarily on BigQuery, with the ability to adapt to other databases (including Azure SQL and others) as business needs dictate.
• Dashboard & BI Development: Delivers visually compelling, actionable campaign dashboards using Power BI as the primary BI tool, and Looker Studio or other solutions when appropriate.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engages with internal teams and, where required, clients to scope campaign reporting and automation requirements, ensuring successful delivery.
• Documentation & Enablement: Creates thorough documentation and user guides; supports and upskills colleagues across the business.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively seeks out opportunities for increased efficiency, scalability, and quality in campaign reporting and automation processes. Core Mindset & Approach • Experience with our current campaign reporting tech stack (Adverity, Power BI, BigQuery, etc.) is highly valuable; however, a strong automation mindset, curiosity, and proven ability to quickly learn new data tools are the most essential qualities.
• Demonstrated ambition to automate, improve, and rethink manual campaign reporting processes—regardless of previous tech stack.
• Track record of independently identifying opportunities for automation and delivering results, even when working with new or unfamiliar tools.
• Passionate about driving automation across campaign reporting and media measurement, always seeking to improve efficiency and quality. Qualifications • Has managed end-to-end campaign reporting automation projects and can clearly share success stories from these projects.
• Hands-on experience delivering automated campaign reporting solutions end-to-end using Adverity, Power BI, and BigQuery.
• Advanced knowledge of data integration, ETL, and dashboarding best practices for campaign and media reporting.
• Experience with other data/API connectors (Supermetrics, Funnel, etc.) and BI tools (Looker Studio, etc.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with process automation tools (Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel automation).
• Proficient in SQL: Able to independently write, debug, and optimize queries for campaign data integration, transformation, and reporting—primarily using BigQuery, but adaptable to other SQL-based platforms as needed.
• Able to listen, analyze, and translate campaign business needs into technical solutions—comfortable working with all levels (including managers and directors).
• A coach, mentor, and team enabler—but not a formal people manager.
• Strong communicator and documentation skills.
