About the Team:
We are expanding our Finance, Accounting and Controlling team across Istanbul and looking for Senior Budget, Reporting & Control Specialist to join us in Istanbul with Division Aftermarket.
What you can look forward to as Senior Budget, Reporting & Control Specialist:
- Prepare and manage monthly financial closings, including local GAAP and IFRS financial reports.
- Perform daily transaction reviews to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Oversee and enhance the Internal Control System (ICS) reporting process, identifying and addressing risks.
- Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Provide actionable insights through deep analytical reviews of financial data.
- Ensure all reporting deadlines are met and communicate with responsible teams to maintain accountability.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies during financial reviews and audits.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and ensure timely adoption.
- Assist in developing and improving financial and operational processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Your profile as Senior Budget, Reporting & Control Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, and professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred
- Min 7-8 years experience in budgeting, reporting, and financial controlling roles.
- Strong knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP knowledge is an asset and Navision knowledge is nice to have) and advanced Excel skills.
- Deeply analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of internal control systems and risk management frameworks.
- High-level proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, excellent organizational and time management skills.
