This role is part of Alcon's Sales & Sales Support function, a team that helps provide access to products across all channels in an effort to drive customer satisfaction with eye care professionals to help people see brilliantly.
The Visualization Manager (Professional Path) is primarily responsible for achieving sales targets and promoting products to medical practitioners and allied health care professionals within a specific account or territory. You will build strong customer relationships, handle inquiries, and manage sales planning and reporting.
In this role, a typical day will include:
• Achieve sales targets and promote products to medical practitioners and allied health care professionals
• Drive sales, productivity, and performance targets within budgets and timescales
• Develop business plans and implement activities like customer events, sales and marketing campaigns, and sales presentations
• Provide key account/hospital network support and market access support, including referral networks
• Maintain and enhance knowledge of products, product strategy, positioning, key messages, programs, company developments, customers, and competitors
• Achieve agreed contact, coverage, and frequency targets through various communication channels
• Ensure customer satisfaction and build best-in-class customer relationships
• Handle inquiries and complaints quickly and professionally in accordance with company procedures
• Complete all reports accurately and on time
• Contribute positively to the Sales and Marketing team through cooperative relationships and collaborative efforts to achieve team and company objectives
• Sales and market share responsibility across Alcon’s Visualization equipment portfolio, i.e (Ngeunity, Luxor and Argos )
• Drive equipment penetration and upgrades in target customers :
Increase Alcon and visualization installed base through dedicated focus on gaining competitive accounts and upgrade Alcon accounts to latest Alcon technology
Convey Alcon's value (beyond equipment) through thorough demos
Proactively collaborate with IOL Manager & SEM in identifying potential targets and new customers.
• Cross-functional support to
Advise and support other Alcon Sales Representatives in their work
Report on competitor activities
Initiate follow-up to product related complaints
• Consistently act in accordance with SOPs and medical device regulatory environment.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Education: BS/BA in biomedical field or COT/COA preferred
Languages: In addition to local language : fluent English, written & spoken
Experience: Min. 3years sales force experience in medical devices, pref-erably in visualization surgery
Competency/Technical Skills
“Hunter” (customer lead and opportunity-seeking) mindset with ability to work in highly competitive environments, focusing on demos and conversion of competitive accounts
Strong business and selling acumen
Excellent communication skills, both technically and interpersonally
Strong problem solving skills
Demonstrated autonomy and ability to travel up to 90 % to customer sites in the assigned region; valid driver license and passport
