- Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with and drive company objectives.
- Lead the finance department’s daily operations, ensuring smooth accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash-management activities.
- Accounting, Reporting & Compliance
- Manage full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and tax-compliance processes.
- Prepare timely, accurate statutory and management financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay current on Turkish tax legislation, the Turkish Commercial Code (TTK), and other regulatory requirements, serving as the in-house expert for SGK, VAT, income tax, corporate tax, and related filings.
- Budgeting, Forecasting & Audit
- Lead annual budgeting cycles and rolling forecasts, coordinating with department heads to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Coordinate internal and external financial audits, overseeing the timely resolution of audit findings.
- Financial Analysis & Decision Support
- Conduct in-depth financial analyses to identify risks, opportunities, and performance trends, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Deliver clear financial recommendations that support data-driven, strategic decision-making across the organization.
- Cash Flow, Investments & Financial Planning
- Monitor and manage cash flow, working-capital requirements, and liquidity to meet operational and growth needs.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and financing options, supporting long-term financial planning and capital allocation.
- Systems & Process Optimization
- Oversee Logo ERP integration and optimization projects, ensuring accurate data flow and efficient financial operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and improve reporting accuracy.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Act as the finance liaison for internal teams, external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders, fostering transparent communication and strong working relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA (Serbest Mali Müşavir / Yeminli Mali Müşavir) or an equivalent professional qualification required.
- 5+ years of experience in financial management or controlling roles, preferably within the tech or app-development industry.
- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial software (Oracle, Logo, Netsis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead a finance team and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Thorough understanding of Turkish tax laws and financial regulations.
- Active involvement in ERP/accounting-system integration or migration projects.
- Experienced in preparing consolidated financial reports.
