About the role
As a Sales Support Specialist at Verifone plays a critical role in driving our company's growth by enhancing sales productivity and streamlining processes. As sales are the engine of our business, this position is essential to our success. You will work closely with the sales team to provide operational and administrative support throughout the sales cycle, while also serving as a key point of contact for customers. From resolving sales-related inquiries to ensuring a best in class customer experience, you'll deliver timely, real-time assistance that keeps our sales function running efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses, and other sales-related issues
- Supply data, documentation, and guides to support the sales team in their daily activities
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance
- Coordinate effectively between Sales and internal departments such as Logistics, Finance, and Engineering
- Manage sales tracking tools and generate reports on key sales data
- Maintain accurate records of sales trends and performance metrics
- Collaborate with account managers to develop tailored sales strategies
- Stay current with new product and feature launches, ensuring the sales team is fully informed and aligned
- Review pending orders and respond to specific customer requests to ensure a high-quality customer experience
- Identify and suggest improvements to the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Participate in regular sales team meetings and contribute to ongoing initiatives
- Ensure compliance with the Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) policy
Skills and Experience we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, related field or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience as a Sales Support Specialist or in a similar sales support role is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
- Solid understanding of sales principles and customer service best practices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong motivational skills and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Analytical mindset with the ability to multitask and manage priorities
- Collaborative team player with a proactive and positive attitude
