We are currently looking for a Regulatory and Scientific Affairs Specialist to join our Operations team.
Location: İstanbul
Type of contract: Permanent
As a Regulatory and Scientific Affairs Executive, you will have the following responsibilities;
- Keep abreast of local and international regulatory knowledge and share regulatory knowledge with RSA (Regulatory and Scientific Affairs) staff and various functions.
- Close collaboration with and presence at relevant Associations to understand and impact the local environment
- Propose & Implement validated action plans in response to regulatory changes in the market.
- Analyse regulatory frame and conceptualise regulatory opportunities for new product development at early stages of I&R (Innovation & Renovation) (through knowledge of regulatory trends and new regulatory developments).
- Ensure regulatory compliance of recipes, raw materials and products, labelling and any kind of product communication by working in close collaboration with marketing, nutritionists, quality department and application groups for product compliance and Give guidance to relevant networks
- Build and maintain close contact with the authorities & ensure guidance to the Regulatory Coordinator for efficient follow-up of the submissions
- Ensure sustainability of current portfolio on the market
- Plan submissions & follow up approval of import permit renewals, sales permits, price changes and changes in approved reimbursement conditions for marketed products
- Track pricing and reimbursement status of competitor products
Which profile are we looking for?
- University degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years experience in a regulatory team or in close contact with regulatory environment or equivalent experience outside Nestlé in a regulatory team for similar roles of regulatory and market access ( food association, industry or governmental authorities).
- Recognised as credible regulatory senior specialist throughout the local organization (business, application group, quality).
- Knowledge and experience in nutrition, science, raw material and finished products applied to regulatory environment.
- Successful completion of the Functional RSA curriculum up to the senior specialist level and proven implementation of learning through on-the-job application.
- Demonstrated interpersonal (leading or influencing) skills in a previous job.
