We are currently seeking candidates for the position of “Raw Material Leader” to be based at our Mersin plant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure raw material production is carried out in compliance with legal regulations at the mining sites under responsibility.
- Achieve raw material production in line with defined quality standards and process conditions.
- Prepare annual budgets for the area of responsibility and perform monthly tracking.
- Develop improvement and digitalization proposals for raw material business processes, turn them into projects, and ensure implementation.
- Optimize raw material operational processes to minimize production standard deviations.
- Conduct benefit-cost analyses for raw and alternative raw materials in coordination with the purchasing department.
- Manage the crushing and screening plant and its personnel.
- Research alternative raw material sources that can be used in the process within the scope of sustainability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering,
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the cement or manufacturing industry,
- Holds a Permanent Supervisor certificate,
- Well-versed in licensing and permit processes,
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and representation skills,
- Proficient in English,
- Preferably knowledgeable in SAP,
- Able to reside in Mersin/Adana.
