The Ideal Candidate will be responsible for the following processes and tasks:
- Manage the day-to-day activities necessary to purchase goods, materials, supplies, and services that meet the organization’s standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply; enter orders into the SAP system for managerial approval and release
- Support the analysis of supplier bids, tenders, proposals, or quotations with terms that are in the organization’s best interest; keep the prices and vendor info in SAP updated
- Communicate with vendors to resolve problems in terms of on time delivery, service or quality of supplies
- Identify, research, and evaluate suppliers that meet the organization’s standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
- Support the Assessment of supplier’s products to ensure they that they comply with
- specifications and meet the organization’s quality standards
- Attend organized Supplier Audits in coordination with Quality, measure Supplier Performance regularly and implement Vendor Ranking accordingly
- Collect purchasing related data and provide Management with operational reporting
- Become Quality Management System Responsible of the Department
Who are we looking for?
The Ideal Candidate should have the following skills:
- University degree preferably in Industrial/Electric & Electronical/Chemical/Metallurgical and Materials Engineering
- Advanced level of at English written and spoken
- High analytical skills, proactive approach, resilience
- At least 2 years of experience in a smilar role
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Actively explore and understand customer needs
- Pursue focused Innovation & Improvement
- Promotes collaboration and coordination in the organization
- Always acts as a role model, ensuring the integrity and delivering on promises
- Keeping the things simple in order to facilitate timely and focused decision making
- Achieves consistent results focusing on priorities and ensuring both effectiveness and efficiency in the process of delivery
