- Execute commodity strategy including growing business with partner suppliers and right-sizing supply base where necessary;
- Execute general sourcing requests focusing on efficiency and quality of suppliers;
- Partnering with stakeholder within the respective regions and functions in the global procurement;
- Responsible for supplier management enhancing relationship / partnership within the regions and alignment with global functional teams;
- Act a general window between suppliers and PHINIA for topics of sourcing activities and commercials;
- Apply and follow the sourcing processes through IQRF/RFQs/RFPs. Support to implement new processes, tools, policies and technics for better success;
- Deliver commodity targets and metrics on an enterprise level including material cost reductions;
- Support CSR initiatives related to suppliers diversity, sustainability, agility;
- Support sourcing strategy from packaging to supplier development and identify areas of improvement and cost saving initiatives;
- Use advanced analytical and problem solving skills, able to handle multiple priorities, work well under pressure and meet deadlines with quality output;
- Other tasks as assigned by superior.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Economics, or equivalent field ~ Preference)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Purchasing within an international company (preferably in the automotive industry)
- Prepares reports, cost analyses, charts, graphs, and other statistical information.
- Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables.
- Analysis the commodity market trend, analysis the price trend in line with the global sourcing strategy to predict the commodity price trend
- Time management skills with ease to understand and establish priorities
- Familiar with the Americas automotive market and suppliers
