In line with growing organisation in Turkiye, we are looking for new teammate as "Lean Manufacturing Engineer" who will work closely with Manufacturing Department as well as Industrillization Department .
Job Title: Lean Manufacturing Engineer
Job Purpose
The Lean Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for leading and implementing Lean initiatives, particularly on the shop floor, to create more sustainable, efficient, and waste-free operations. This role requires a strong background in Lean Manufacturing (minimum 3–4 years of dedicated Lean experience) and a solid foundation in Continuous Improvement (CI) principles. The Lean Manufacturing Engineer will analyze current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement sustainable solutions. Serving as a role model for Lean culture across the plant, this individual will also act as a natural trainer and coach, working closely with both the Engineering and Production departments.
Key Responsibilities
Lean Implementation & Continuous Improvement
- Lead shop-floor Lean projects to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- Apply Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Kanban, and Standard Work in daily operations.
- Conduct process analysis to identify improvement opportunities and ensure solutions are sustainable over time.
- Promote and integrate Continuous Improvement principles into plant operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the Engineering and Production departments to integrate Lean solutions seamlessly into operations.
- Support other functions in embedding Lean principles into their workflows.
Training & Coaching
- Act as a role model for Lean behaviors and mindset at all levels of the organization.
- Deliver hands-on training sessions, workshops, and coaching for employees on Lean and CI tools.
- Encourage and empower teams to take ownership of improvement initiatives.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track the impact of Lean and CI projects using measurable KPIs.
- Report progress to management and propose further actions to strengthen results.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–4 years of dedicated Lean Manufacturing experience (not limited to general industrial/methods engineering).
- Strong knowledge and application of Continuous Improvement principles as a fundamental skill set.
- Minimum B1 level English proficiency (spoken and written).
- Proven ability to lead change and influence cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and training skills — a natural coach and motivator.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
