In line with growing organisation in Turkiye, we are looking for new teammates as "Methods Engineer" who will be under Industrialization Department.
Job Title: Methods Engineer
Job Purpose
The Methods Engineer supports product and process development by analyzing machine capacity, man–machine times, and workflows to identify and implement the most efficient working methods. This role ensures optimal use of resources, improved productivity, and alignment with Lean Manufacturing principles.
Key Responsibilities
Process & Method Development
- Define technical specifications for equipment in RFPs according to established production methods.
- Conduct man–machine time studies (including cyclograms) to determine production capacities.
- Create and update work cycles in the SAP system.
Workload & Line Balancing
- Balance production lines and departments to optimize efficiency.
- Prepare and adjust workloads for each workstation.
- Calculate direct labor requirements based on production plans.
Optimization & Improvement
- Organize and optimize workstation layouts and methods.
- Analyze crossing times and implement set-up time reductions.
- Support productivity improvement projects and new product/process start-ups.
- Promote and adapt Lean Manufacturing culture and methodologies.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of professional experience as a Methods Engineer or in a similar industrial engineering role.
- Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment preferred.
- Minimum B1 level English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process optimization skills.
- Proficiency in industrial engineering tools and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Education
- Degree in Engineering Mechanical, Electrotechnical, or Industrial Engineering.
