Responsibilities:
- This role will be mainly responsible for managing asset servicing related corporate actions processes; these processes are mainly reconciling and processing positions related to Corporate Action events, executing client instructions, reporting and ensuring controls
- Additional activities include revisions of communications, notifications and facilitating postings for Corporate Action or Proxy events
- Delegates and supervises straightforward tasks under his/her responsibility
- Applies working knowledge of technical and professional principles and concepts and in-depth knowledge of custody operations team objectives
- Identifies any opportunity for implementation process improvements, and service or technology enhancements. Identifies control deficiencies and implement appropriate procedures for custody operations in general and asset servicing specific
- Creates, develops, and maintains business relationships with clients externally and internally (within the organization)
- Applies basic understanding of how own area integrates within own subject area, supports settlements, account maintenance and other units where and when applicable
- Perform other duties as assigned, participate and contribute to systems and process related projects
- Client instruction and securities transaction processing in accordance with prevailing market and Citi deadlines
- Ensuring and further enhancing STP (Straight Through Processing) asset servicing process.
- Aligning with Risk and Controls procedures for daily activities.
- Coordinate instruction processing issues to the appropriate department, timely escalation to clients and collaborate on a solution with all stakeholders
- Reporting – preparing various reports (ad hoc as well as regular reports) for several stakeholders
- Contributing to improvement of the quality and efficiency of assigned tasks and processes
Must have requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in Custody / Asset Servicing / Securities Services / Central Depository / CCP / Securities and Client Instruction Processing
- SWIFT system knowledge
- This role requires daily communication in English
- Ability to learn new and often complex things quickly
- Strong creativity, innovation, problem solving skills
- Willingness to develop, learn and share knowledge with others
