The Work You’ll Do:
The primary focus of this role is to provide technical expertise, guidance and support to Sovos Professional Services team members and clients who are implementing Sovos software products. The Supervisor, SAP Consulting will utilize their extensive knowledge in SAP Materials Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), and/or Financial Accounting (FI) to implement and troubleshoot Sovos software products for clients in EMEA and Turkey. To be successful, the The Supervisor, SAP Consulting will need to fully understand the governmental reporting requirements for each country and Sovos product they work with (example: Spain SII for VAT tax reporting). The The Supervisoralso contributes to the Support Team by acting as an expert maximizing the solutions for clients and associates that will contribute to a successful overall client experience.
More specifically you will:
- Analyze clients’ SAP configurations to prepare detailed design and customization documentation
- Lead product testing and identify gaps or issues in the implementation; collaborate with relevant teams to resolve them
- Guide clients through user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist during go-live and stabilization phases
- Provide advanced technical support to clients and internal support teams
- Utilize strong troubleshooting skills based on extensive product and process knowledge
- Manage multiple, complex implementation projects simultaneously
- Lead and manage a team of SAP Solutions Consultants, providing direction, performance feedback, and day-to-day support
- Ensure timely and accurate communication during rollouts, patches, and updates
- Maintain up-to-date expertise in Sovos products, SAP modules, and emerging technologies
- Contribute to continuous improvement through participation in product committees and project teams
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction through proactive engagement and problem resolution
- Act as a mentor and knowledge resource within the team
- Ensure compliance with Sovos processes, systems, and best practices
- Demonstrate strong ownership, adaptability, and resilience in a dynamic environment
What We Need From You:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP consultancy.
- Background working in a software or professional services company; with e-transformation products (e-invoice, e-archive, e-ledger, etc.) is a big plus
- SAP SD module functional and analysis knowledge and basic understanding of SAP FI and MM modules
- Proven experience in leading, managing, or mentoring consulting or technical teams
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) in English
- Strong time management and coordination abilities; capable of managing multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
- Comfortable working with Fortune 500 clients and managing client expectations
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally when required (most work is conducted remotely)
- ERP knowledge is a plus
