As a Social Media & Brand Specialist, you will own MobileAction’s social media channels. In practice, this means creating written, video, and visual content across social networks, maintaining a content calendar and coordinating across teams to ensure that our social presence reflects what’s happening at MobileAction.
You will also be a key person in our existing community on social media, helping to make sure it is healthy and thriving and taking it to the next level through active engagement on social media. You’ll work closely with the rest of our dynamic Marketing team to create social media content on a weekly and monthly basis, as well as work closely with our commercial teams to keep them aware of upcoming planned content.
Day-to-day, you’ll work hands-on scheduling posts, following industry trends, gathering insights, plus engaging with our community and customers, building relationships, and surfacing trends from within our community that can impact our overall strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills in social media marketing.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute engaging content (text, image, video) across various social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Reddit, etc.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive online community.
- Plan MobileAction’s quarterly social media content calendar.
- Utilize social media scheduling tools to distribute content effectively.
- Support our employee advocacy program by creating and sharing content that highlights our company culture and values.
- Track and analyze key social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
- Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm new ideas and contribute to overall marketing strategies.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
- Work closely with all departments (HR, sales, product, client & design) and ensure consistency across all brand touch points.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Excellent English proficiency.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Social Sprout).
- Highly technical and comfortable with AI tools and prompt engineering to produce quality content at scale.
- Basic design skills using Canva, Figma, or similar tools.
- Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Canva, iMovie or similar tools.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana)
