As an NPI Specialist NSP-SDN within the Nokia Regional Engineering Delivery (RED) Customer Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge network management solutions across the EMEA region. You'll collaborate closely with customers to gather requirements and oversee NSP installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities, ensuring seamless post-sales support. This role is integral to our team, where your contributions will enhance service delivery and foster innovation. You'll engage with diverse teams, including Product Line Management and Technical Designers, to tackle challenges and implement solutions that drive customer satisfaction. - Perform NSP installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities for customers across the EMEA region.
- Gather requirements and manage project deployments through both remote and onsite collaboration with clients.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including method of procedures, operational, and acceptance test documentation.
- Develop software tools and scripts to streamline project deployments and enhance operational efficiency.
- Deliver customized workshops and technical training sessions to empower customers with essential skills.
- Coordinate closely with PLM and Support teams to address solution challenges and drive product enhancements.
- Establish and manage customer expectations throughout the implementation process.
- Foster a collaborative environment by working alongside Technical Designers, NPI engineers, and Integration engineers to ensure project success.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Telecom, or Software Engineering
- Strong skills with Linux/Unix, Solaris, Red Hat, CentOS
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing concepts and platforms such as OpenStack
- Good knowledge of IP Networking, Routing, and Services Topology (IPv4 and IPv6)
- Experience in software development with languages such as Java, Python, and Perl
It would be nice if you also had:
- Knowledge of Network Management & API concepts (NETCONF, YANG, OpenFlow)
- Experience in Consulting and providing professional services directly to external customers, as well as multi-vendor OSS integration experience
