Mechanical Team Lead
'Leading international manufacturer of wind turbines worldwide, present in several countries across the world seeks qualified Mechanical Team Lead within the development of its activities to fill the following position in daily operations/several projects within Türkiye, İzmir.
- Organizing site visits and managing support for the scope of troubleshooting and new technology improvements related to inspection and troubleshooting of mechanical components (gearbox, drive train, bearings, hydraulic units, cooling system, oil leakages, etc.)
- Provide leadership of ongoing technical developments regarding optimization and efficiency of main components and mechanical units of the wind turbines.
- Manage and devalop local repair work shop area including component repairs, team and budget planning, reporting process, new vendor selections and application of HSE and quality standards.
- Manage on solving challenging mechanical failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and to make technical guidance to site personnel.
- Provide technical support for designing and supporingt for producing local tools to prevent chronical damages of mechanical units in the earlier phase
- Generate local COE, repair and after-sales projects for all turbine generations.
- Managing the follow up procedure of CMS vibrations, borescope control, temperatures and oil/grease analysis of all main components and guide the site personnel to realize related inspections and take preventive actions.
- Work closely with 2nd level - Drive Train & Tower Service dept. on the decision period of changing main components and provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions.
- Meet regularly with RFS support group personnel to discuss about continuing development areas; ommunicate with FOM’s and follow up on customer requests to be done at site.
