Job Description
- Draft, review, and process documentation for Board of Directors Resolutions and General Assembly Meetings,
- Provide support on various corporate legal matters, both internally and externally,
- Implement assigned compliance projects, including GDPR and internal compliance policies,
- Draft legal advice and opinions on a wide range of legal matters,
- Draft and review contracts—from local administrative agreements to large-scale international transportation contracts,
- Collaborate with internal departments and present legal reports and opinions when required,
- Coordinate with and monitor the quality of external legal counsel, ensuring accuracy and compliance,
- Prepare and submit necessary filings to the Trade Registry, administrative authorities or judicial bodies,
- Monitor local legislative developments and support their implementation within the business,
- Advise the finance department on legal matters such as overdue receivables, guarantees, and loan agreements,
- Advise on matters related to Turkish Labour Law,
- Support the insurance and claims department in the coordination of claim-related legal issues.
Qualifications
- LL.B. degree from a reputable university (LL.M. is a strong advantage),
- Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably as an in-house legal counsel or at a reputable law firm,
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken,
- Effective communication skills across all levels of business,
- Proactive, hands-on approach and ability to manage multiple tasks,
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
- General knowledge of the logistics sector is a plus,
- Completed military service (if applicable).
