As Wide and Wise Talent Partner, we are currently seeking a qualified Import Procurement Specialist on behalf of our client operating in the manufacturing sector. The role will be based at their Istanbul (Ataşehir) headquarters.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, International Trade & Logistics, or Foreign Trade
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain within FMCG, manufacturing or packaging industries
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience in import operations and procurement
- Familiarity with supply chain systems and technologies (ERP, SAP, TMS)
- Solid knowledge of customs regulations, logistics, and international trade processes
- Proficient in MS Office tools
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
- No military obligation for male candidates

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for managing all import/export operations related to the company’s Adana, Çorlu, Denizli, and Eskişehir plants,
- Overseeing and ensuring compliance in all customs clearance procedures,
- Actively participating in customs inspections,
- Monitoring and managing transaction costs,
- Performing cost analysis and reporting within operational processes,
- Taking ownership of budget optimization efforts,
- Managing import/export activities with a focus on cost efficiency and customer satisfaction,
- Leading cost-saving projects aligned with company objectives, identifying and optimizing saving opportunities in distribution and warehousing processes,
- Taking lead on IT-related procurement projects,
- Conducting benchmarking and market research,
- Defining, tracking, and reporting KPIs to measure operational efficiency and identify risks,
- Playing an active role in international projects and lean management activities, contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
