Purpose of the Role:
The Turkey Group is looking for a Financial Controller for its Selimpaşa/Silivri location to assist Finance team and support the Director & Head of Finance to deliver the financial planning and reporting processes within Group guidelines, supported by effective systems to the highest ethical and professional standards.
Principal Responsibilities
- Weekly sales forecast reporting.
- Preparation of the consolidated Financial Report on a monthly basis ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of the regional financial results, checking for variances and anomalies and finding justified explanations for any deviations to last year, forecast or budget.
- Quarterly and year-end Group reporting requirements.
- Overall oversight and responsibility for the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.
- Cash flow and investment monitoring and follow-up.
- Implementing appropriate controls and processes, e.g.: development of material and overhead standards; inventory valuations, general ledger and statutory reconciliations.
- Work with senior stakeholders and business partnering across various departments and entities.
- Work closely with the Divisional (EMEIA) Financial Controlling Team.
- To support control cost controlling and pricing strategy in line with ASSA ABLOY methodology.
- Support the internal and external audit process and the implementation of audit recommendations.
Education, experience and personal characteristics:
- Fluent in English and native Turkish.
- Educated to at least a degree level in a financial discipline.
- Accountancy - Professionally qualified / CPA status is a plus.
- Significant all-round finance experience including in-depth: budgeting, accounting, controlling, partnering and reporting skills.
- Good level of knowledge on IFRS desirable.
- A minimum of 3 years broad-based experience
- Experience working in the Manufacturing or Engineering industry in an International environment would be a distinct advantage.
- Highly Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of Hyperion Financial Management would be advantageous. Experience working with ERP systems (Logo, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX…)
- Excellent communication skills.
- A self-starter with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
