We are looking for a Claims & Insurance Executive to join our team in Kocaeli, Türkiye . In this role, you will be responsible for managing and resolving insurance claims efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, and providing strategic guidance to minimize risks and optimize costs. You will play a key role in safeguarding our operations while supporting senior management with accurate reporting and insights.
Your Responsibilities:
Provide services that ensure claims are resolved quickly and fairly, interpret insurance policies and contracts, and establish funds in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
Develop investigation plans for claims and collect all necessary documents and information (e.g. receipts, photographs, appraisals).
Ensure that all documents related to the investigation and settlement of claims are complete, accurate, and detailed.
Evaluate each claim and conduct investigations as necessary.
Collect and organize relevant documents, prepare claim files, and create new claim records.
Communicate with loss adjusters, creditors, insured parties, and other stakeholders to determine liabilities and scope.
Take necessary actions regarding customer claims, such as obtaining documents, coordinating with experts, reviewing files, and conducting negotiations.
Advise senior management on whether to reclaim damages from the insurance company (e.g. compare the amount of damage with additional expenses that may arise in next year’s insurance policy to ensure optimum savings).
Prepare and distribute monthly reports to management on claims statistics and receivables status.
Review Terminal operations in order to recommend policies that cover maximum risks at minimum cost.
Support audits or inspections by preparing relevant documents and ensuring compliance with regulatory and documentation standards.
Your Profile:
University degree in Banking and Insurance (or related field).
Minimum 7–8 years of experience in insurance, preferably in corporate companies or insurance brokerage, with solid expertise in claims handling.
Strong technical and corporate insurance knowledge.
Proven ability to work with various stakeholders such as Operations, HSSE teams, Regional Office, and Head Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Turkish and English.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; hands-on approach and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
