DP World Yarımca is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead its commercial strategy and drive business growth in one of Türkiye’s most prominent container terminals.
Your Responsibilities:
- Expand customer base by developing new business relationships and strategic partnerships
- Maximize revenue through pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and resource optimization
- Strengthen existing customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction levels
- Attract new customers and enhance brand visibility across the industry
- Gather market intelligence to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
- Collaborate with operations teams to optimize cargo handling and ensure operational excellence
- Achieve financial targets by monitoring KPIs and implementing cost-saving initiatives
- Formulate and execute commercial strategies aligned with market trends and business goals
- Lead marketing initiatives, market research, and promotional campaigns
- Coordinate across departments (Operations, Finance, Marketing) to align objectives
- Represent DP World Yarımca in industry forums, conferences, and trade associations
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related fields
- Strong grasp of budgeting, performance management, and financial metrics
- In-depth knowledge of the container terminal industry and regional market dynamics
- Proven success in sales, marketing, and contract negotiations
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills
- Analytical mindset with strategic planning capabilities
- Fluent English and Turkish language skills
Experience:
- Up to 10 years in Commercial, General Management, or Business Development roles
- Solid expertise in Türkiye’s cargo owner and distribution markets
- Strategic experience within the maritime port or liner industry
- Extensive networking within container shipping and 3PL environments
- Track record of achieving targets through internal influence and wide responsibility
