You will take full accountability for customer orders and deliveries and related processes. You join our highly committed team in Istanbul for our Polyurethanes division.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager ME, you will be responsible for managing multiple accounts in the Middle East region for the entire process: from order to delivery. You will oversee taking the order, arranging delivery, processing invoices and after-care. Role Responsibilities:
As a Supply Chain Sr. Specialist / Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining company standards regarding safety and compliance whilst promoting Huntsman’s corporate principals and company values in all aspects of your work.
- Assuring accurate order to cash process and master data in SAP and related systems with responsibility from receipt of order to final delivery to the customer. This may also involve proactively soliciting or monitoring orders from customers based on order patterns, knowledge of customer requirements or guidance from sales organization.
- Dailing contact with Middle East customers and be the link between customers, sales force, technical support, credit control, supply chain, logistic service provider where relevant and other O2C related departments.
- Maintaining excellent relationships with Customers and internal and external stakeholders by providing relevant process and business information and by proactively following up the orders and deliveries
- Pro-actively detecting, preventing and resolving issues related to orders and deliveries to ensure OTIF, right first-time execution and KPI targets are met. Using the appropriate business tools to monitor orders and related exception handlings
- Contributing to the most efficient order to cash handling by promoting Huntsman customer web portal for order entry and documentation retrieval.
- Delivering products and service in line with customer, business and supply chain requirements whilst following lowest cost principle and agreed service as per the business service level and segmentation rules
- Being a key partner in the allocation process by following the business, supply chain and legal rules regarding orders and communication to the customers and logistic service providers
- Managing operational accruals and settlement process for rebates and commissions.
- Logging and following up of complaints and complaints closure with customers.
- Backing up for other CSRs and/or Team Leaders
- Being interested and become knowledgeable on our production, products, markets and customers.
Experience and Competencies:
What we are looking for:
- Degree or qualification in International Economics, Marketing, Finance, Logistics, or equivalent professional experience
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with both customers and colleagues
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a service-oriented mindset with a global perspective
- Flexible team player with a proactive, positive attitude; able to work independently and manage own workload effectively
- Resilient under pressure, capable of multitasking and handling a varied workload and potential customer issues
- Eager to learn, open to change, and adaptable in a dynamic environment
- Fluent in English and Turkish; any additional language is considered a plus
- Cultural awareness of the regions covered, including the Middle East, Turkey, and Central Asia
