The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Product Engineer to join our team at the Çerkezköy manufacturing facility. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the production and optimization of 3M’s advanced materials and technologies. This role combines product lifecycle management, process engineering, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure product quality, safety, and efficiency.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading and supporting the scale-up of new products from R&D to manufacturing
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Taking ownership to resolve product quality issues including implementation of future preventions.
• Utilizing available resources and experts to drive impactful design changes to existing products to maximize customer satisfaction and promote business success.
• Designing, conducting, and analyzing experiments (DOEs) to validate product and process improvements.
• Ensuring compliance with 3M’s EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and regulatory standards.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Materials, or related field)
• Excellent communication skills in both Turkish and English
• Experience in a manufacturing or product engineering environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical software (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP, Minitab)

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience in a multinational manufacturing company
• Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean methodologies
• Exposure to polymer, adhesives, or film-based product technologies

Job specifics:

• Location: Çerkezköy, Turkey
• Position is based on-site
• Travel expectations: May include up to 15% [domestic/international]
• Working pattern: full time
