PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
Responsibilities
- Direct Purchasing Assistant on maintenance,repair and operating (MRO) orders and purchase order entry.
- Negotiate MRO pricing and contracts.
- Evaluate and review vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.
- Categorizing the incoming purchase requests according to the demand evaluation criteria and initiating the purchasing process.
- Researching suppliers according to the requirements of the incoming demand and obtaining offers according to the determined specifications.
- Negotiating with suppliers, obtaining discounts or alternative offers to meet the necessary conditions.
- If there is no registered supplier qualified to meet the demand, search for new suppliers
- To check the current documents to create a new supplier record and complete the current record.
- Creating SAP purchase requests for company-wide requests
- Preparing cost evaluation analysis according to certain purchasing limits.
- Performing the necessary records and transactions on ERP and other relevant platforms of the company in coordination with the Plant Manager in relation to the purchases subject to investment.
- To follow up the orders to ensure that they are delivered at the right time and in the right way.
- To follow up invoice approval and goods receipt processes for all procurement processes and to take necessary actions.
- To take an active role in the committees and project teams to which he/she is assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Preferred fields: Economics and Administrative Sciences
- 1–4 years of experience in similar positions
- Advanced proficiency in English
- Valid Class B driver's license
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with ERP systems (preferred)
- Military service must be completed for male candidates
- Project management skills
- Data management skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Analytical thinking ability
