We’re recruiting for a Sourcing Quality Engineer to join our Group Quality Design team in Turkey. We’re looking for a candidate who has experience in the quality and/or production of Sanitaryware products to help ensure that our products comply with the legal, safety and quality requirements.

What's the job?
- Evaluate, perform risk assessment and develop new products to ensure they comply with legal, safety and quality requirements
- Ensures product documentation, specification sheets, bills of materials, detail drawings, assembly drawings and instructions for use and installation of product developed based on Kingfisher requirements, manage sample sealing process
- Ensure products and associated packaging and manuals meet quality, legal and safety requirements
- Audit of factories based on Kingfisher requirements((quality system assessment, process capability analysis etc.); ensure implementation of agreed corrective actions
- Follow up on non-conforming from the factory audit, in-line inspection, FRI inspection, quality complaints from internal customers, product returns. Identify/drive root cause analysis, corrective action and preventive action implementation in factories
- Ensure quality sourcing procedures are fully understood and implemented by factories, inspection and test agents
- Manage FRI inspections and evaluate results of inspections conducted by either 3rd party agencies or local teams, define and obtain DCL. Occasionally conduct During Production Inspections and FRI inspections followed by a relevant report
- Lead and drive CTQ-CTP-PFME- Control Plan exercises in factories
- Closely working with vendors to maintain product quality and secure quality expectations to meet Kingfisher requirements
- Lead and coordinate test process with the supplier and verify those stages are fulfilled on time
What you'll bring
- University degree in an engineering field
- Preferably min 3 years experience in a similar role in a sourcing office
- Solid Quality Assurance technical skills
- Strong time and project management skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Office required
- ISO quality system knowledge, QA and QC methods knowledge, experience with European standards and directives
- Good communications skills with the ability to work in a dynamic organization
- 30% ~50% of the time-traveling (mostly within the geographic footprint)
- Fluent level of written and verbal English.
