Are you the enthusiastic and self-driven Sales Support Engineer we are looking for? We at Flow Control Business Area are seeking our missing piece!
We are looking for a Sales Support Engineer to strengthen our Flow Control team in Istanbul! You will be responsible for preparing all quotations and offers, supporting customer inquiries and updating them about order status. Your geographical responsibility scope will be Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Georgia, and you will report to the Sales Manager.
You will be responsible for:
- Following all the trade compliance and code of ethics procedures strictly.
- Preparing DtD type business offers.
- Assisting sales team in technical discussions with customers.
- Working with customer and internal team to resolve any issue in the pre-sales, quotation, contract and project period.
- Preparing technical offers by using Valmet tools for valve sizing and product selection.
- Participating in internal meetings with the sales team to support offer preparation progress.
- Participating in technical and commercial negotiations with customers through online and on-site meetings along with the sales team when necessary.
- Participating in tenders through customer systems.
- Reviewing and controlling purchase orders.
- Sending purchase orders to our factories by using Valmet tools.
- Communicating with product management team and factories for technical clarifications and strategical quotation development.
- Regularly attending online trainings for Valmet tools, such as Salesforce, CPQ, Nelprof and pass the information to other team members.
What you need to be successful:
- University degree in engineering (B.Sc) M.Sc.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales process technologies.
- Good knowledge of all valve products and services preferred.
- Technical background in Power and oil&gas markets are preferred. Other markets such as mining or pulp&paper are advantage.
- SAP knowledge.
- Good presentation and customer interface skills.
- Native-speaker level in Turkish, fluent in English and very good in intercultural communication skills.
