We are looking for a Sales Engineer to strengthen our Flow Control team!
In this role, you are expected to establish good customer relationship in the region and increase Valmet’s participation in selected market segments through successful implementation of sales business plans. You’re expected to follow all leads in the market and ensure that opportunities are followed, quotations are prepared and submitted, and all necessary customer visits are done to secure order booking.
You will be responsible for:
- Follow all the trade compliance and code of ethics procedures strictly.
- Closely follow new trends in Oil&Gas market.
- Prepare sales funnels, presentations etc.
- Key account management of our specific customers which are active in Oil&Gas market.
- Actively visit customers, search for new opportunities/projects, get in contact with potential customers, present Valmet Flow Control solutions.
- Receive and manage customer inquiries, send quotations, participate tenders.
- Participate in technical and commercial meetings with our global departments during quotation development process.
- Participate in technical and commercial meetings with customers; review & negotiate contracts.
- Work with customers and internal team to resolve any issue in the pre-sales, quotation, contract and project period.
- Follow-up payments in coordination with the finance department.
- Review and control purchase orders.
- Effective use of Valmet sales tools.
What you need to be successful:
- Educational background in electrical/mechanical or control system technologies.
- University degree in engineering B.Sc/M.Sc and MBA are preferable.
- At least 2 years of experience in marketing and sales in process technologies.
- Knowledge in flow control products, especially in valves and pumps is an advantage.
- Knowledge in Oil&Gas market is preferred.
- Good presentation and customer interface skills.
- Fluent in English and very good in intercultural communication skills.
- This position requires 50% of travel for domestic markets.
