SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Manage an assigned area or team by planning, organizing, and following up quality control lab activities to test, analyze and ensure that the products are in accordance with relevant specifications.Responsibilities:
- Keeping track of RFT as KPI, by following up the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly trend analysis, and leading the process of RFT improvements.
- Performing detailed root cause analysis of the customer complaints, and internal quality deviations, and verifying the effectiveness of the preventive actions, together with Production Team.
- Preparing test reports for investigations of customer complaints or TSS feedbacks from field, and sharing these with stakeholders.
- Coordinating the process of shelf life extension for finished goods, those are already sold to customer or non-movers those are still in warehouses.
- Following up the Rework process for second quality products, or non-movers.
- Studying for new colour recipes of factory productions or new multicolor recipes, based on requests coming from domestic Deco market.
- Coordinating the process of panel application and delivery to customer, based on requests from Protective or APG.
- Following up the calibration periods and processes of the equipments used, and coordinate the external calibration service process, as well as the calibration certificates, labels and their compliance to quality standards.
- Following up the audit and testing period of Institute of Turkish Standards (TSE), organizing sample period and coordinating with TSE, as well as following up the non-conformities and re-testing organization.
- Coordinating the audits from external certification societies such as ISO, IACS societies etc. and following up all the process together with Quality Systems Engineer, as well as taking the required actions.
- Preparing the proof documents for all audits, including Jotun Global Audits such as JOS, HSEQ or various product audits.
- Keeping track of the plant hygiene activities, by verifying tasks on the field together with Production Team
- Following up the test results -especially the application tests- of critical interior paints.
- Working together with Purchasing, Marketing and Production departments, as well as R&D, for package quality improvements, and approval of new suppliers and new package types.
- Making trend analysis for QC tests of the products to verify stability, by using Cp/Cpk values
- Coordinating the process of shelf life extension for expired raw materials, by following up the results of performed tests and sharing the results with R&D, to evaluate if the raw material is suitable to requalify.
- Sustain the coordination with related departments in Norway Headquarters, such as Global R&D, Certification & Approval or Product Stewardship.

What we look for:
Qualifications
- Graduated from university departments of Chemical Engineering preferably, or Chemistry
- At least 2 years of working experience, preferably in a role related with Quality Control, Laboratory, Quality Assurance or Quality Management Systems
- Proficient in English, at least B2 level, preferably at C1 level
- Skilled in MS Office applications
- Team-oriented
- Have good communication skills
- Have driver license and active driver
- Reside in or can settle in Çerkezköy, Çorlu, Kapaklı or Silivri
