Medsien is a venture-backed healthcare SaaS company experiencing rapid growth and looking to expand our team. We are seeking an organized, motivated, and passionate Mobile Developer to join our team of talented and inspiring developers in a fast-paced environment.
As a Mobile Developer, you'll work on new exciting projects with full autonomy. We're looking for a candidate who is passionate about building new applications from the ground up and who will join a growing team in developing the products that enable providers to provide high quality services to their patients.
As a Mobile Developer, you will:
- Collaborate with UX designers and backend engineers to to ensure designs are technically feasible and user-friendly and to develop and maintain responsive mobile applications using React Native.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship.
- Optimize application performance for mobile devices.
- Develop and maintain reusable components and libraries.
- Write clean, well-documented code that is scalable and maintainable.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging mobile development technologies and industry trends.
- Work closely with product managers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Understand how code fits into broader technical and/or business contexts.
- Actively participate in code review and technical design reviews.
- Work on medium to large projects.
- Participate in all system/component implementation and design from development to production.
- Research new technologies and prototype new ideas.
- Ensure high testability and quality of delivered software.
- Work with the Operations team to troubleshoot and fix defects in software.
- Participate in building Scrum processes and agile culture within the company.
Please apply if you have:
- Solid experience with React Native and delivering mobile applications in production,
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React hooks,
- Experience leading greenfield projects, including architecture, setup, and maintainability planning,
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, cross-platform challenges, and performance optimization,
- Integration experience with RESTful APIs, along with offline storage and secure authentication flows,
- Successful deployment of apps to both the iOS App Store and Google Play Store,
- Experience working on privacy-sensitive platforms (e.g., healthcare or GDPR/HIPAA-compliant systems),
- Ability to extend React Native with custom native modules for iOS and Android when needed,
- Comfort collaborating with designers and familiarity with tools like Figma,
- Exposure to testing frameworks (such as Jest, Detox) and monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics),
- Experience working within AWS environments, such as S3, Cognito, and Lambda,
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal,
- A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and the ability to work independently,
- Residence in central Istanbul.
