Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure all equipment and tools are in optimal working condition by implementing effective preventive and corrective maintenance plans
- Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team; manage staffing, performance evaluations, and development plans
- Contribute to the execution of operational strategies by leveraging deep technical knowledge and analytical skills
- Apply best practices in maintenance operations, while understanding the competitive landscape and industry trends
- Propose and implement solutions to complex manufacturing challenges using sound engineering judgment
- Lead small-scale, low-risk projects and support cross-functional initiatives
- Serve as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues
- Communicate performance expectations clearly and manage sensitive issues professionally
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or investment-related environments
- Strong technical knowledge of production processes and resource planning
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Istanbul or Kocaeli
Desired Characteristics
- Proficiency in ACad and SolidWorks is a strong asset
- Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in the power transformer industry is highly desirable
- Knowledge of industry standards and specifications related to transformers
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a customer-oriented approach
