We're looking for a skilled and experienced Linux Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of our Linux-based systems and servers. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems (CentOS, Debian, Red Hat Enterprise Linux) on physical and virtual servers.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and optimal operation.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security configurations.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Implement and maintain system security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy and manage applications.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical system support.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Linux technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Professional level Turkish and English language skills (written and verbal)
- Proven experience as a Linux Administrator, with a strong focus on CentOS, Debian, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux internals, including networking, file systems, process management, and security.
- Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash) and experience with other scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE, LPIC) are highly desirable.
