ABOUT THE TEAMThe Finance Team is Trendyol's control center. The team acts as a bridge between commercial teams and customers in order to provide financial sustainability and efficiency for the company.
We are all working with the same purpose: To create a positive impact in our ecosystem by enabling commerce through technology.
What We're Looking For
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of key business and IT processes to ensure internal controls are well-designed and effective.
- Perform risk-based assessments, including process mapping and design of Risk Control Matrices (RCMs).
- Support the development, maintenance, and updates of RCMs, narratives, and testing schedules for high-risk processes.
- Identify and drive improvements in control efficiency, automation, and standardization across processes.
- Design, implement, and evaluate internal controls to mitigate operational and financial risks.
- Identify control gaps, recommend remediation actions, and follow up on implementation progress.
- Collaborate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to support SOX audits and ensure compliance.
- Execute and document SOX controls testing, including IT General Controls (e.g., access, change, backup/recovery) and Process Level Controls (e.g., O2C, inventory).
- Monitor changes in business processes or systems and assess their impact on internal controls.
- Stay current on best practices in internal controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required,
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in internal audit, internal controls, risk management, or SOX compliance with knowledge of both IT and business processes,
- Solid understanding of SOX requirements, risk frameworks (e.g., COSO), and control evaluation principles,
- A self-starter, and ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high standard results quickly under minimal supervision,
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken,
- Data analysis experience and SQL knowledge / is a plus,
- E-commerce or retail sector experience is a plus,
- Relevant certifications (CIA, CPA, CISA, CRMA) are a plus.

We offer a hybrid model that combines the productivity of remote work with the bonding and collaboration of in-office work. Teams are expected to work from our offices on designated days each week, fostering team spirit, creativity and cross team collaboration as part of our culture.
We also provide a summer working model, with a two-month fully remote work opportunity during July and August.
The hybrid working model only applies to hybrid roles; on-site roles require regular office presence.
