As KWS Türk we are seeking a strategic and data-driven Head of Sales who excels in analytical thinking and decision-making based on metrics and performance insights. You will be responsible for driving profitable growth across multiple channels—Direct, Distributors, Industry, and Customers—while aligning with the strategic vision set by the Head of Country (HoC). This role is pivotal in transforming our team into a truly customer-centric organization, delivering value through innovation, collaboration, and excellence in execution. The ideal candidate approaches challenges with objectivity and focuses on results, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
This position is unlimited and in full-time and based in Eskişehir, Türkiye.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, empower and motivate the Sales Team
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all KWS sales activities for sugar beet, corn, and oil crops
- Understand the current and future market situation, evaluate commercial strategies and action plans for the country
- Support the HoC with developing the sales structure in the short/mid/long run, and plan and define sales objectives and action plans together with the Sales and Marketing Teams
- Sales- and budget planning (matching budget vs sales figures like sales, gross margin, costs, etc.) and fulfillment of these plans, taking into consideration deadlines, feedback, skills, market situation incl. financial and economic development, and customers’ situation, on national level
- Drive the change process to a customer centric organization, implementing the cross-crop strategy
- Manage and solve difficulties and complex problems with all customers to improve partnership, loyalty and common profitability
- Design sales campaigns together with the Marketing and direct and manage the commercial activities to promote the sales of KWS products
- Ensure continuous training/further development of direct reports with know-how of internal staff or external coaching
- Ensure all business processes meet the KWS group requirements & guidelines
- As an active part of the management team, secure a close collaboration with the marketing, product management and logistics
- Support KWS in project related work
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Preferably an academic degree in agricultural sciences, agricultural economics or similar
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales incl. people responsibility
- Experience with profit responsibility and budget control
- Knowledge of the Turkish agricultural market / distribution is of great advantage
- Fluent English and Turkish skills are mandatory
- Demonstrated leadership in driving strategic sales initiatives, with expertise in stakeholder management, change leadership, conflict resolution, and ethical decision-making
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams through complex challenges while maintaining a strong customer focus
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills, including proficiency in data analytics, reporting, negotiation, and critical thinking
- Adept at translating insights into actionable strategies and fostering transparent, results-oriented collaboration across all levels

- Country Top and Bottom-Line performance
- Sales per crop, GM2 (Sales – sales expenses – COGS)
- Market share % per crop and penetration in KWS crops
- Customer reach and satisfaction
- Cross crop sales
- Open receivables collection
- Fulfillment of budget and sales figures
