What We're Looking For
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive risk management strategy for our wallet and payment operations.
- Oversee fraud prevention, detection, and mitigation initiatives across all payment channels.
- Monitor regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Customer Operations to identify and mitigate emerging risks.
- Establish metrics, reporting, and KPIs to track risk trends, fraud incidents, and control effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement in risk controls and fraud prevention strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on risk-related decisions and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (8+ years) in risk management, fraud prevention, or financial crime within payment, fintech, or banking sectors.
- Strong understanding of digital wallet operations, payment processing, and associated risk frameworks.
- Experience with regulatory requirements (e.g., PSD2, AML, KYC, PCI-DSS) and compliance oversight.
- Track record of leading high-performing teams and implementing scalable risk and fraud management processes.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven risk assessment and fraud analytics.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, FRM) preferred.
