What We're Looking For
- Lead and oversee the company’s risk management and compliance functions, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business strategy.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control frameworks to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
- Serve as the key advisor to executive leadership on risk, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Foster a culture of compliance and ethical business practices across the organization.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely adoption of new rules and standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure risk-aware decision making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for policies, procedures, and risk management tools.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior risk and compliance role, preferably within a fintech, banking, or financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to financial technology companies (e.g., AML/KYC, GDPR, PSD2, etc.).Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing risk management and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and guide decision-making at the executive level.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, CRMA, FRM, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
