Job Description
- Evaluate credit customer applications and conduct risk analyses in line with internal criteria and business strategies.
- Manage the entire customer risk evaluation system, ensure compliance with global standards and local scoring models.
- Monitor credit risks based on economic indicators and activate early warning systems where necessary.
- Operate the Direct Debit process and collaborate with banks and fintech companies to support system improvements.
- Support dunning procedures coordinate with stores and legal teams as needed.
- Develop and enhance collection methods to reduce existing risks and improve cash flow efficiency.
- Prepare and share credit limit, overdue payment, and risk reports on a regular basis, both locally and globally.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with internal and external requirements.
- Guide sales managers and store accountants on credit evaluation processes; gather feedback and requests, and support preliminary assessments for system and process improvements.
- Contribute to Credit Committee processes by preparing necessary documentation and providing expert recommendations.
- Develop and implement short, medium, and long-term plans in alignment with company risk strategy and liquidity targets.
- Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with global teams to implement best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or related fields; a Master’s degree in Finance is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in credit management, preferably within the retail, FMCG, or finance sectors.
- Preferably have experience in the credit and risk management departments of businesses and financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles; ability to interpret financial statements in IFRS and local GAAP (VUK) formats.
- Proficiency in SAP (FI module) and MS Office applications.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proactive, result-driven, and able to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Customer and store focused mindset with excellent communication and coordination skills.
