The Corporate Banking Analyst is an entry-level position responsible for assisting Citi’s largest clients for their overall banking needs in various fields including but not limited to Debt Capital Markets, Export Credit Agency Guaranteed Financings, Liquidity/Cash Management, Trade & Treasury Solutions, Derivatives transactions. Analyst has a critical role in assisting coordination of internal product teams in various geographies, helping credit analysis, loan documentation, supporting Corporate Banking Management and assisting client communication to complete the transactions in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product teams, Credit Underwriters and Relationship Managers to execute transactions
- Prepare financial analysis, projections, capital analysis , peer comparisons on new transactions, calculate pricing & internal profitability metrics
- Coordinate credit allocations, internal approvals, documentation, booking approvals to complete the transactions in a timely manner
- Assist Senior Bankers with the preparation of relationship reviews on client portfolios, identify any decreasing or missing revenues and reporting errors
- Arrange and participate in client meetings, prepare call memos, proactively suggest new transaction ideas
- Closely follow up macroeconomic and debt capital markets related developments, company news and proactively inform the team
- Assist new client onboarding process including KYC & Compliance approvals
- Train and coordinate interns
Qualifications:
- 4th grade university student (graduation in June 2025) or fresh graduate with less than 2 years full-time job experience
- Banking/Corporate finance related internships in the past, preferably in Corporate or Investment Banking
- Familiarity with Corporate Banking business, its related products, and pertinent regulations, credit analysis and documentation
- Ability to be client focused, results oriented and proactive
- Demonstrate planning and organizational skills, can operate with limited supervision
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English and Turkish to articulate/present complex financing schemes
- Eager to work in a fast-paced multinational environment and be part of large transactions that contribute to the growth & economic development
