Volt Lines is the only technology-enabled player in the Turkish market competing against legacy incumbents and it reduces emissions and traffic by turning premium 16-seater buses into a viable alternative to single occupancy vehicles.
What we do?
In Istanbul, over 50,000 buses operate at 31% efficiency. These buses, which contribute to the city's traffic with empty seats, could also be the solution to its problem. Volt Lines is the only shuttle service provider that has both software as well as a transport service. This allows for optimal harmonization of the software and operation resulting in the creation of great experiences and services. Notable examples of these innovative services include DRT and Marketplace. DRT (short for Demand-Responsive Transport) was covered by a Harvard Business School case study that is being taught at the MBA school. Marketplace on the other hand allows companies to sell empty seats on their buses to neighboring passengers who are going in the same direction at the same time.

We're looking for a Corporate Finance & Strategy Team Member to join us in shaping the future of urban transportation using the latest technologies.
Role Overview:
As the Strategy & Financial Analysis Manager at Volt Lines, you will play a critical role in bridging corporate strategy with financial insight to drive informed decision-making and long-term growth. You will lead in-depth financial analysis, help in decision modelling, and evaluate new initiatives from both strategic and feasibility perspectives. You will work closely with senior leadership to shape the company’s strategic roadmap, assess investment opportunities, and ensure that resource allocation aligns with Volt Lines’ growth priorities. This role is ideal for someone who can think strategically while grounding decisions in solid financial rationale.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Founder/CEO to shape and drive the company’s strategic agenda
- Overlook financial modeling and analysis to evaluate strategic initiatives, investment opportunities, and new business lines.
- Support corporate strategy development by identifying growth opportunities, analyzing market trends, and tracking competitive dynamics.
- Conduct strategic and financial due diligence for new investments and partnership opportunities.
- Drive cross-functional strategic projects, collaborating with Finance and Executive teams.
- Design and develop executive-ready presentations, one-pagers, and strategic briefs for internal and external stakeholders, including board and investor meetings.
- Build and maintain strategic planning tools, such as long-term plans, scenario models, and performance dashboards.
- Track key business metrics and provide recommendations to optimize business performance.
In short, be the eyes and ears of the CEO through robust, standardized, and streamlined reporting and help enable fast decision-making through world-class decision modelling.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in strategy, corporate finance, management consulting, or a related analytical role
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and business case development skills, ideally with a proven track record in finance
- Demonstrated ability to craft high-impact, executive-level presentations
- Proven ability to lead strategic analysis with minimal guidance
- Skilled in project management and cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced settings
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach
- Experience in startups or high-growth environments is a strong plus
