Job Summary
Support the senior manager on the site/company to ensure compliance to the group OHS policy and associated procedures and to drive continuous improvement towards the Tetra Pak goal of zero accidents and work-related ill health.
Ensure delivery of the Corporate OHS strategy on their sites. This work will often be delivered working with a local OHS consultant.
What you will do
1. Champion OHS within their business
2. Provide OHS advice and guidance to their site director/MD
3. Establish and maintain systems to support the Group OHS policy/procedures and local legislation
4. Maintain a record of OHS incindets and monitor completion of follow up actions
5. Monitor compliance with agreed site OHS policies and procedures
6. Ensure that an OHS training plan is in place to cover the significant risks on the site
7. Prohibit any activity from continuing that is considered a danger or a significant breach of OHS legislation
We believe you have
- Bachelor’s degree from related engineering departments
- Minimum 3+ years of working experience in OHS
- Good level of English and Turkish
- Knowledge of international occupational health and safety, environment and energy standards and their applications
- A valid Classr B Occupational Safety Specialist Certificate approved by the Ministry
- Ability to work in coordination with domestic/international companies and internal departments.
- Ability to use MS Office programs at a level where they can analyse and presentExperienced in training, presentations and high oratory skills
- A great team player with strong communication skills.
- Value-oriented and possessing a lean perspective.
- Analytical thinker with negotiation skills.
- Innovative and skilled in problem-solving.
