Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and analytical Risk Underwriter to join our growing team. This role plays a key part in evaluating and managing financial risks, supporting commercial decision-making, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements to assess buyers risk profiles and decide credit limit requests within the response time required
- Monitor risk exposures and perform sectoral and market analyses
- Manage reporting processes and support decision-making with data-driven insights
- Conduct client meetings and on-site visits to gather business insights
- Actively contribute to commercial activities and business development
- Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to senior management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
- Minimum 5 years of experience in banking and financial services sector - Experience in trade credit insurance is a strong plus
- Strong financial literacy and ability to interpret financial statements
- Experience in client communication and field visits
- Solid background in risk monitoring and industry analysis
- Commercial mindset with a proactive approach to business involvement
- Excellent presentation and reporting skills
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
