Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Quality & Safety Driver to support the Middle East and Africa Project Centre’s “Right First Time” approach and ensure compliance with food and equipment safety standards. In this role, you will drive quality and safety capabilities through competence development, effective measurement, and auditing.
The position is advertised at Tetra Pak Processing in Turkey, Istanbul; however, for the right candidate, the location is flexible, it can be based in Hungary (Budaörs), Sweden (Lund), France (Paris), Spain (Arganda del Rey) or Poland. It is important that no career migration (relocation of the final candidate from one country to another) is considered.
What you will do
As a Project Centre Quality & Safety Driver, you will:
- Lead Quality Assurance activities across the Project Centre, including the development and implementation of project-specific quality plans
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Policy, Food Safety Policy, and local legal requirements related to food and equipment safety
- Conduct internal and site audits, analyze quality data, and prioritize actions to drive continuous quality performance improvements
- Participate in cross-functional networks to enhance end-to-end quality of our solutions in Oceania
- Support the achievement of strategic quality capabilities and foster a quality mindset through maturity assessments across the Middle East and Africa Project Centre
- Coordinate quality and safety competence development in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Liaise with Local Food Safety Officers, Equipment Safety Officers, and Occupational Health & Safety Officers to ensure alignment and compliance with initiatives
- Lead effective issue resolution during the Installation, Performance, and Warranty phases
Ensure the quality and compliance of third-party equipment, services, and material supply with local legislation
We believe you have
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management and Project Management
- Strong background in quality systems, ISO regulations, and compliance awareness
- Solid understanding of local legislation and compliance requirements in the Middle East and Africa
- Formal education in Quality or a related field (tertiary degree or equivalent)
- Proven skills in:
- Change management
- Project management
- Quality methodologies and tools
- Stakeholder management and influencing without authority
- Able to guide pre-project and project managers through quality processes
- Process-oriented with a strong understanding of governance and compliance frameworks
- Confident in driving quality aspects of processing and packaging
- Detail-oriented with a results-driven mindset
- Comfortable acting as an informal leader within the management team (no direct reports)
- Capable of building trust and promoting a quality mindset across teams
- Able to communicate effectively and “sell” quality initiatives to diverse stakeholders
