Job Purpose The Production Planning Coordinator is responsible for developing daily or weekly production schedules to ensure production deadlines are met. This role involves planning and prioritizing operations, coordinating resources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure maximum efficiency, minimal delays, and optimal resource utilization. Key Responsibilities Production Workflow Coordination
- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple product lines.
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimal delays.
- Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to meet production demand.
- Monitor ongoing jobs to ensure they finish on time and within budget.
- Address operational issues as they arise, aiming for minimal disruption to schedules.
- Prepare and submit status updates and performance reports.
- Maintain accurate and organized production records and paperwork.
- Work closely with quality control, warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in production planning or a similar role.
- Proven management experience with comparable team size or operational scope.
- English language proficiency is mandatory; a second language is considered an advantage.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Degree in Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
