About Job
We are looking for an experienced Product Development Leader to strengthen our Kraft Heinz family. The Product Development Leader position is within our Operations department. The location of the position is Susurluk/Balıkesir.
About the Role:
In this position, the application team collaborates with FSQ teams or packagers at Heinz facilities to publish final product specifications.
In this critical role, the Product Development Leader works closely with cross-functional teams from other departments to translate operational performance and product concepts into R&D briefs and product specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be developing new and improved products in the framework of NPD activities and value engineering in Turkey and run complex projects in Turkey
You will be proactively stimulating the NPD process, have an open minded attitude with a clear focus on consumer driven innovation
You will bring new ideas as much from an NPD perspective as from a value engineering perspective
You will provide technological expertise where needed in the organization
You will support driving the BU innovation and R&D strategy.
Creating/approving product identification cards and communicating with relevant departments,
The application team, in conjunction with the FSQ teams or packers at Heinz facilities, publishes final product specifications,
Leading the R&D perspective on new/alternative raw materials and supplier approval together with FSQ and purchasing departments,
Leading the Product Development sub-function and the Product Development team,
Leading technical NPD and value engineering projects and conducting studies (usually with external partners) throughout the innovation process until product launch,
Changing product concepts to R&D briefings and product features,
Manage and lead technical feasibility to support new product/value engineering,
Incorporating new and improved products into production facilities by collaborating with colleagues in your department,
To be responsible for giving final approval to ensure technical compatibility, procedures, processes, nutrition, food safety and quality of New and Improved varieties introduced to the market,
Acting as a resource for R&D business partners,
To succeed in entering the category strategy,
Supporting the R&D Manager,
Developing/participating in academic features related to food innovations/research when necessary,
Ensuring continuity within the team and realizing broadcasts recorded by members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in food technology/food chemistry/or related Science discipline.
At least 3 years of R&D experience.
Previous work experience in an FMCG environment
Have a good level of English
Proficient in MS Office, SAP programs
