About the role
We're thrilled to extend a warm welcome to you for the long-term internship program "The Path" at Haleon, providing an authentic and distinctive career journey across Medical & Scientific Affairs Department.
For the summer term, full-time attendance (remotely) is mandatory, whereas during the academic term, interns are expected to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week (hybrid) for a duration of 12 months.
Key responsibilities
- Aid in the preparation and delivery of medical presentations to internal teams, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
- Be trained on the platforms/Systems: - ProMotion etc for preparation, approval/ review of content.
- Assist in the medical communication and external advocacy efforts e.g., with HCPs, Scientific Exchange in team meetings or by different channels (F2F, virtual, calls, Mail).
- Cross-functional team involvement in project.
- Assist in conducting scientific literature reviews and data analysis to support medical education initiatives.
- Understand the process of the benefit risk of a product and evaluate the product’s safety and efficacy.
Qualifications and skills
- Educational background – studying for a Pharmacy, Medicine or Dentist qualification.
- Must be a 3rd or 4th year university student, with the earliest graduation date being June 2026,
- Able to work full time (remotely) for the summer term and min 3 days in a week (hybrid) for the academic term,
- Excellent written and spoken English,
- High proficiency in MS Office programs,
- Agility and high motivation to learn.
- Good interpersonal abilities.
- Proactive attitude to process improvement.
- Awareness and ability to work within culturally diverse teams.
