Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
Support detailed concept design and approval processes.
Conduct variant studies for wiring harness modules based on vehicle types and related 3D geometry.
Prepare 2D technical drawings in eeCAD, including cable plans and wiring modules.
Design harness geometry in accordance with feedback from harness production suppliers.
Document parts lists and modifications according to company norms.
Select appropriate harness components such as fuses, cable diameters, plugs, sockets, and tubes.
Perform checks to ensure harness geometry matches 3D routing data.
Implement field and production feedback in the wiring harness DIAD process.
Manage change requests for harnesses with suppliers.
Document deviations and their implementation in project vehicles.
Support field and aftersales activities as needed.
Track and update technical data of components.
Report development steps to system engineers.
Provide improvement suggestions based on feedback received.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in wiring harness design or a related area.
Proficiency in 2D CAD software
Familiarity with automotive wiring harness standards and components.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
