Our Digital Analyst position based in İstanbul is a fantastic opportunity for someone with combined analyst and data engineering skills to learn about and contribute to the digital insights work taking place at Essentra Components.
You will be supporting the entire digital team and associated projects with specific domain know how and expertise around collecting, cleaning, structuring and analysing data.
A successful candidate must be comfortable with creating and maintaining datasets to sustain a robust reporting and analysis environment. That involves understanding of the tag management and data harvesting processes, ETL processes from digital platforms, management of data tables, the delivery of well-designed visual reporting as well as communication skills.
You should have a strong commercial mindset and understanding of the digital landscape in a B2B context, able to interpret trends and clearly articulate key insights to business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting internal digital reporting process
- Analytics and MarTech implementation using Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Supporting digital data integrations and assisting in the future development of these systems
- Acting as a subject matter expert for the organisation’s web-based analytics structure
- Identifying potential gaps and missed opportunities through analysis of the current GA and tag management platform configuration
- Generating insights and reports with compelling visuals and narratives to inform key stakeholders and drive innovation in Essentra’s Hassle-Free offer
- Providing data-driven recommendations to influence audience behavior
- Understanding key success metrics and leveraging them to optimise "Cost Per" measures
- Analysing business metrics to assess the impact of conversion rate-related developments across the organisation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
- Maintain documentation repository of solutions, to include methodology
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, statistics/analytics, marketing or related field
- Capable of defining and communicating requirements to dev team for data layer implementation
- Testing and QA of analytics implementation
- Digital Platform Experience
- Solid understanding of the Google Analytics platform within an ecommerce setting
- Knowledge of A/B Testing and associated tools such as Hotjar/ AbTeasty
- Knowledge of database systems
- Data Analytics and Visualisation Tools (Looker Studio & Power BI)
- Data Wrangling and cleansing
- Familiarity with HTML / CSS / Cookies / JavaScript / jQuery
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Google Tag Manager
- SQL
- Familiarity with LLM Tools makes daily tasks easier
- Cloud system such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
- Knowledge of Alteryx / PowerBI
- Proficiency in other program languages such Javascript and Python are an advantage
- Keen to learn new skills and to deploy them in a workplace setting
- Able to make a significant contribution to the overall team performance
- Understanding of how B2B markets work
